Attach to clean, dry surface when temperature is above freezing (32° F). Attach in one of four ways:. Use construction-grade outdoor weatherproof adhesive. Apply adhesive to underside of base. Firmly press Spikes onto surface. Let dry. Wire or Plastic Ties: recommended for cabling, piping and thin railings. Clamps or Velcro: recommended for temporary installations. 1/8" nails or #12 screws: attach to surface thru holes in base. • Position each strip so it locks with the next. • Coverage: For every 6 inches of width, use one row of Spikes. • Spikes is only effective where it is applied - treat all landing and roosting surfaces in the problem area. |
