Taken at 1/25th of a second, these images capture the minute flashes of joy, suffering, wisdom and experience accrued throughout the journey of life that we all take. Miller makes his portraits neither for himself nor the subject, but for the viewer―to help feel deeper the joys, the struggles and everything else we feel during that short time we call a life.
